We are always looking for new talent to strengthen our team. We are an interdisciplinary and international team jointly hosted at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany.
PhD Applications:
Prospective PhD students should apply exclusively through the EMBL International PhD Programme or the DKFZ International PhD Programme. We are unable to consider unsolicited PhD applications sent directly to the lab.
Postdoctoral Applications:
Prospective postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to apply through the DKFZ Postdoctoral Fellowship or EMBL Postdoctoral Programme.
If you do not apply through one of the specific programmes above, please send a CV, a letter of motivation and ideally 2 references in a single pdf directly to office [at] steglelab.org. Successful letter of interest should be tailored to our group, mentioning projects or articles of our group that you find interesting, and explaining how you would fit in our group. Additional supporting documents demonstrating your prior experience incl. code samples of previous projects and links to a GitHub repository are very welcome.
BSc / MSc thesis or Internships:
Students interested in a BSc or MSc thesis project, or a research internship, are welcome to contact us at office [at] steglelab.org. Please send a CV and a motivation letter tailored to the research interests of the lab, and include information about your envisioned starting date and duration.
